If you have a valid work permit with a Swis employer, there is no obligation to announce your ancillary activity. You will not be issued any other permit.

However, if you have a higher activity rate with our new employer than the previous one, you should announce your change of employer using the online form.

As a reminder, you cannot work more than 50 hours a week.

If your main activity remains that carried out as a self-employed person, you can carry out an ancillary activity as an employee without telling us. So you don't have to go to our office.

I have a G permit and I'm going to work in another canton, what do I do ?

How do I get a certificate that says I've applied ?

It is not possible to obtain a certificate stating that you have applied for a cross-border work permit. However, your employer normally receives two confirmations by email: the first when the application is submitted, the second after the verification of the documents provided. If the application concerns an EU/EFTA national, this second confirmation indicates that the applicant is authorised to work and may be submitted to the authorities in case of a check.

Yes. Applications for a cross-border permit do not appear in your e-démarche space.

The applicant (payment card holder) normally receives a confirmation of payment by email. The employer normally receives two confirmations by email (see question above).
