French courses for parents whose children attend public compulsory school

For whom

French courses are intended for foreign-speaking parents who have children enrolled in public school (primary school and/or orientation cycle).

Your personal data will remain confidential.

What

Classes take place once a week throughout the school year. A certificate of attendance (for a minimum of 80% course attendance) is given to participants at the end of the year.

When

Classes start at the end of September and end at the beginning of June (around 30 lessons).

Current session : from 28 of September 2026 to 3 of June 2027.

As the number of places is limited, registrations will be taken  on a first-come, first-served basis.

Conditions

Have a child attending public school in Geneva (primary school or orientation cycle).

Times and Locations

The courses offered take place at CO Aubépine, CO Coudriers, CO Sécheron : program available from August 17th, 2026.

The final orientation will be confirmed during the first lessons.

Price

The courses are free, the purchase of books is the responsibility of the participants.
From level A2, a registration fee of 40 francs is required.
