Geneva aims to attract more filming and post-production work to the Canton. To achieve this, it has introduced a financial incentive mechanism: reimbursement of eligible expenditure, commonly known as a cash rebate.
The principle is simple: if you carry out an audiovisual production or post-production in Geneva and your project meets the conditions, the Canton reimburses part of the eligible expenditure you incurred in the Canton of Geneva.

- Up to 30% of your eligible expenditure reimbursed (15% base rate plus bonuses).
- Maximum reimbursement of CHF 500,000 per project.
- The application must be submitted before your activity begins in Geneva.
- Amounts are allocated in the order applications are received, subject to available funds.
